👑 February 6th – A Royal Moment in History – and What Home Means Today
On this day in history—February 6, 1952—Princess Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth II following the passing of her father, King George VI. It marked the beginning of one of the most iconic reigns in modern history.
Fun personal connection: I’m lucky enough to share my home with two Pembroke Welsh Corgis, the breed famously beloved by the Queen herself. Meet Remington and Elizabeth—clearly living their best royal lives and fully embracing their role as household dignitaries.
A little history, a little heart, and a reminder that even the smallest details (and shortest legs) can carry a lot of legacy.
